From the greasy idiot Who w as Telling me “in 2 weeks” for years. I sold the car 2 years ago, He got a free, admittedly mediocre metal flake paint job out of me, and I think he kept the gasket set and carb kit. Whatever, the current owner of the car now has his engine and I’m finally free of the fight to get it back. (No, I never drove the Mach 1, yes I’m mildly bitter about it.) It’s not his fault the corvair got crashed, but he’s a big factor in my only having a complete toy car for 7 days of the last decade.

No more horse trading. Long story short: When a different 73 mustang showed up in his driveway I got pretty beligerent about it, Only because I’m friendly with his family does that mustang still have windows. Moral of story: be nice and patient= sucker. Be complete asshole = engine back in 7 days.
